Partnerships

We partner with the National Abortion Hotline and the Abortion Freedom Fund. They may be able to help with the cost of your medication abortion.

Payment Plans

Sunny now has the option for you to pay in three installments over 3 months.

Medicaid (if you’re in New York State!)

If you have Medicaid in New York State, the cost of your medication abortion and up to 1 year of birth control is completely covered. This means you will not need to pay anything out of pocket for your care with Sunny.

Cost & Payment — What to Expect

The cost of getting a medication abortion with Sunny, without assistance or Medicaid, is $269. Once you fill out your health questionnaire, we’ll be in touch in 1 day. Our doctor will let you know if you are medically eligible for care with Sunny. If you are eligible, there are a few options for payment.

  • If you are interested in getting help with costs, we’ll share information on how you can find out if you qualify for a discount.
  • If you have active Medicaid in New York, you will pay $0 for medication abortion and up to 1 year of birth control.

To make a payment, you’ll get a text and an email with a link to our secure payment platform. You can pay with a debit or credit card. Once your payment is processed, our doctor will send your prescriptions to the pharmacy. When your medication abortion kit has shipped, you’ll get an email from our pharmacy partner

We accept Medicaid in New York State and are working hard to be able to take Medicaid in other states soon!
